This fun Steelers figurine is about four and one-half inches tall. Perfect for every Pittsburgh fan.
Did you know Mickey Mouse played quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers?
We didn't either, and Ben Roethlisberger he's not, but this figurine shows Mickey playing quarterback as #02. What a grip on the ball! Good thing the new helmets are made for large ears.
Interesting Fact: The first player to wear #02 for the Steelers was Jon Staggers in 1970. We have also seen a claim that someone named Zeher wore the number 02 in 1935 when the team was known as the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Value and Pricing: We have seen this Mickey Mouse Danbury Mint Steelerss figurine, in used condition, sell for about $35, a little lower than what some other similar team pieces have sold for.
Minnie Mouse is playing center as #06 for the Pittsburgh Steelers. At five inches tall she looks like a player!
Interesting Fact: The first player to wear #06 for the Steelers was punter Jim Elliott in 1967. We have also seen a reference to someone named Cosgrove wearing the number in 1935 when the team was known as the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Daisy Duck is waiving her black and yellow pom pom on the sideline as a cheerleader for the Steelers.
Naturally, she is wearing yellow high heels to match her yellow hair bow, because that is what Daisy wears.
